Hey i want to call community college of philadelphia, i am int he process of studying for my GED , i want to call someone to talk about booking classes after my GED.. for example. i want to go to frankford nursing school after obtaining my GED, but it says to apply they want applicants with GEDs to have credits in college english and some others.. what department would i call to discuss that and see what classes i need to take

What would happen if I lost my GED and I don’t remember where I took it at because it was so many years ago? I have a problem with remembering……So what would happen if I apply to a college? Do they have to see it?

So, I have been out of school for over 7 yrs and never attended college. I have been a stay at home mom since I was 19. I have just gotten my GED so that I can begin college. I got high enough scores on my GED to qualify for a 2 yr scholarship. I have also been looking into Online college, such as Kaplan and U of Phoenix, the reason being that I have 2 young children and my husband is in the military and will be deployed in a couple months for a year. So I wont have the flexability or the ability to attend a campus school. The community college does offer online classes which I could take while my husband is gone and once he returns I could begin on campus. My question is, will the online classes from a community college give my the flexability I will need for being alone for a year with a 5 and 3 yr old or would a strickly online based school be better for my situation?
Btw, the 2 yr scholarship is for Community college…
